The American Company "MK Industries" Proposes to Implement a Project in Pavlodar region
The head of the region Abylkair Skakov met with the general director of the enterprise Ali Katut. The parties discussed the details of the implementation of the project for the production of semi-finished products from potatoes.
MK Industries is a diversified company that cooperates with more than 30 countries. Investors are proposing a project to build four warehouses for the storage of raw materials and the production of frozen french fries in the city of Aksu. According to CEO Ali Katut, the total investment will be $20 million. In addition to providing the domestic market, products can be exported.
– Our company is interested in cooperation with potato growers in your region. We plan to process 100,000 tons of potatoes, - the investor said.
Akim of the region noted the importance of applying new technologies and scientific research in production, which will help develop and improve the performance of potato growing.
— Pavlodar region is a leader in growing and selling potatoes. This year, its volumes have increased to 766 thousand tons. The experience of cooperation with your company will be useful for us. We are ready to provide support for the implementation of joint goals and objectives, - said Abylkair Skakov.
The foreign company plans to use equipment from Belgium and China in its production. In addition, the possibility of cooperation in the field of animal husbandry, the cultivation of grain crops and the production of feed is being considered.
