Akim of Pavlodar region met with the German Ambassador to Kazakhstan
The regional akimat hosted a meeting of the head of the region, Asain Baykhanov, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kazakhstan, Monica Iversen. The parties discussed issues of cooperation and investments.
Asain Baykhanov spoke about the economic potential and investment opportunities of the region.
- For us, Germany is one of the key trade partners of the region in Europe. There are 80 enterprises in the region with the participation of the German side in the field of services, production and processing. Over the past three years, the trade turnover with Germany has been about 120 million dollars," he said.
City-forming enterprises also participate in trade relations with German partners: Aksu Ferroalloy Plant, JSC "Aluminum of Kazakhstan", Eurasian Energy Corporation, petrochemical Plant.
Monica Iversen assured that the German side is interested in cooperation and is ready to support investment projects. She expressed hope that the partnership will continue to develop actively.
