Dairy farm for 1200 heads opened in Pavlodar region

The new farm in the Aktogay district will provide 100% of the domestic market with milk.

The volume of raw milk production is about 10 thousand liters per year. According to the information of the general director of the enterprise Alexander Terentyev, today 93 Simmental dairy and meat cattle have been imported from Slovakia. By the end of the year, it is planned to bring in more than a thousand heads.

Abylkair Skakov emphasized the importance of such projects and wished success to the team.

Our region is dynamically developing the sphere of agriculture, - noted the akim of the region. This is facilitated by the water potential of the Irtysh. In the last 2.5 years alone, the area of ​​irrigated fields has increased by 40%, which has a positive effect on the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.

With the launch of the farm, 90 jobs were created. The cost of the investment project is over 6 billion tenge. The agricultural enterprise will provide 100% for the domestic market of the region.

This year was a record one - more than 450 billion tenge was allocated to subsidize the agro-industrial complex. On the example of the Pavlodar region, we see the positive results of state support measures, - said the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeev.

In general, out of 36 operating dairy farms in the region, every third has been launched in the last two years. 500 jobs created. There are plans to open eight more dairy farms.
