ERG will allocate 2.9 billion tenge for socially significant projects in the Pavlodar region
The memorandum to this effect was signed today by Shukhrat Ibragimov, the Shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eurasian Group, and Asain Baykhanov, the Akim of the Pavlodar region.
Annually, for 15 years within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the regional akimat and Eurasian Resources Group, projects for the development of infrastructure, improvement of courtyard territories, modernization of social institutions, and digitization are implemented. Within the framework of the memorandum implementation last year, two new schools were built to replace emergency ones in the villages of Karazhar Bayanayulsky district and Sychyovka Pavlodar district. Out of 40 projects of 2023, 26 projects have been completed. Currently, 14 projects are underway, the full implementation of which is planned by July of this year.
For the year 2024, the regional akimat has proposed projects in the field of healthcare, improvement of Pavlodar and Aksu, conducting network revisions in Maikain, digitization of engineering networks in district centers, planting of plantations in the state forest fund of Pavlodar, and others.
The head of the region, Asain Baykhanov, thanked the representatives of the Group for their support and attention to the proposed projects.
Achieving positive results is facilitated by the established system of socially responsible partnership between business and government bodies, - emphasized the akim of the region.
The implementation of 18 projects totaling 11.4 billion tenge is planned from the budget, which will be directed towards the improvement and repair of roads in cities and districts of the region, renovation on Lermontov Street in the regional center, construction of an ice arena in the city of Aksu; reconstruction of the "Miner" park in Ekibastuz, and others.
