Serik Batyrguzhinov was born in 1964 in the Irtysh district. In 1990, he graduated from the Tselinograd Agricultural Institute with a degree in Agronomy, and in 2004 – from the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University with a degree in Jurisprudence.
Career
He began his career in 1985 as a worker at the Golubovsky state farm in the Irtysh district. After receiving higher education, in 1990 he became the chief agronomist of the state farm. From 1993 to 1999 he worked as a director of Pavlodar LLP "Sebat", headed JSC "Belovodskoe HPP", LLP "Im. Isa Baizakov" and AT "Altynshy auyl" LLP of the Irtysh district.
In 1999, he joined the civil service, taking up the post of deputy akim of the Kachir district. From 2000 to December 2003, he headed the Kachir district. From January 2004 to 2011, he worked as an adviser to the head of the Amankol farm in the Irtysh district. From 2011 to 2013 - Director of Nurbi LLP in the Irtysh district. In September 2013, he returned to the civil service, becoming deputy akim of the Irtysh district. From 2014 to 2016 - Akim of Aktogay district, from 2016 to 2019 - akim of Irtysh district. In 2019, he worked as Deputy General Director at Stalmontazh LLP. In 2020, he headed the Department of Agriculture of the Pavlodar region, in 2021 he headed the Terenkol district. From January 2022 to the present appointment, he held the position of akim of Bayanaul district.
